Cross Country Canada Youth Programs

The Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club will be offering a Youth Ski Program for 2021 Leadership and Pandemic Guidelines Permitting.

This program is for skiers 4 years old and older and will be held on Sunday afternoons for 8 weeks. The information and registration form for the Skills Development Program can be found in the  documents below, but please note important dates and information.

MCCSC Membership
Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club membership (family or individual for your child) must be paid prior to registering for the Skills Development (Youth) Program

New for this year
Family flat rate if registering 3 or more children
Start time is 1:30pm

Bunny Rabbit Program : is offered to children of 5 years of age and younger. The objective is to introduce youth to cross-country skiing and the healthy lifestyle associated with it as well as to develop their skills while having fun.

Jackrabbit Program: is aimed at children six to nine years of age. The objective is to develop technique, fitness and speed. This program has an award system to help children keep track of their progress.

Track Attack Program: is directed at youth ten to thirteen years of age. The objective is to control and improve technique from the Jackrabbit program.

All of these programs are part of Cross-Country Canada's programs.
