You are invited to an evening of skiing under the lights, refreshments and good company on Friday, this week, January 30th, between 6:00 and 9:00 pm. The club executive will have light refreshments available, cookies, popcorn, hot chocolate and tea. There are 4 kilometres of lighted trails but if you wish to ski “off grid” , the Yellow Trail (if open) is recommended, a few sets of head lamps will be available. The temperature forecast for Friday evening is only a few degrees below zero so conditions should be good to come and join the fun.

Skate Skiing Lesson Saturday (Weather Permitting) (Cancelled - weather)

Beginner/refresher skate ski lesson will be given Yves St. Germain on Saturday January 31, from 3:00 to 4:30. Meet on the MCCSC teaching grid. If you do not have your own skate skis, there are some sets for rent, but check to see that your size is available. Being comfortable with Classic technique basics are a prerequisite for this session. Email Yves at ystgermain@rogers.com if you plan to attend.

 

 

January 24, 2015 - The Rotary Club of Chatham presented the MCCSC with a donation of $5000 in support of the services the club provides the Miramichi Community. The club is very appreciative of this support.
